I'm an information enthusiast with a passion for sharing.
Resident of the Pacific Northwest, I spent seven years as a librarian before moving to freelance. Since the switch, I've fact-checked for National Geographic publications, stories in the New York Times, and the true crime podcast The Evaporated from Campside Media, among others.
My love of stories doesn't stop at books.
I also have a love of radio that I nourished at NPR, interning for Weekend Edition in Washington, D.C. before focusing on local, more intimate stories in my home state of Montana as Assistant Producer of Mountain West Voices. I'm also an experienced editor and proofreader, and enjoy helping others find the right words for their projects, whether it's a young adult manuscript, a doctoral thesis, or pop science.

Research
My current project. I am researching the life of Rosalie Edge, suffragette turned conservation trailblazer, for Olympic National Park and their Interpretive staff.
|
I researched 100+ of images, including copyright and publication permissions, in special collections and databases. I also researched and fact checked biographies for famous puzzlers and thinkers for the Puzzle Hunt competition, an online puzzle contest tie-in for the book launch.
|
I sourced hundreds of international newspapers from early in the pandemic, both digitally and at the UW Seattle special collections, to be used in Bill Gates' installation at TED 2022 and subsequent book tour.
